Wow - so this was a monumental day at Blizzard. We sometimes have guest artists come and present a lecture or demo. I was amazed today to be in the presence of Ian McCaig (yeah he concepted Darth Maul and Princess Amidala- a couple small accomplishments). He gave an amazing demo and encouraged us to sketch while he did. The amazing part is that Brom (amazing dark fantasy artist) works for Blizzard sometimes too and we got to watch Ian sketch Brom! whoa. Here are a few of my junky sketches from during it and top right is a quicky of Brom.

i watched one of iain's huge videos from gnomon a month or two ago, i was blown away by his magical powers.
Was that Mr. Chipping I just saw in the background in IGN's Jace Hall show?
haha - guilty. and the line they highlight when talking about bards "how do you spell that?" was my very own. :) it was kinda random - they just grabbed a bunch of us and threw us in there w/ a camera.
HAHAHA. I love it. That's my favorite line from the Jace Hall @ Blizzard parts.
